A few words about us

Blu Grotto Ristorante consists of a beautiful conservatory dining room, 3 large outdoor decks and an open air Biergarten.
Blu Grotto will serve modern and classic adaptations of regional Italian favorites, hand made and imported dry pastas, fresh seafood and prime steak. The restaurant will also feature a deep and eclectic wine list and artisanal cocktails, all served in an environment that has to be seen to be believed.

What are we offering

Blu Grotto is proudly serving modern adaptations of classic, regional Italian fare.  Locally sourcing as many ingredients as possible, Blu Grotto believes that the Italian method of serving what is freshest and comes from closest to where you live makes for the best possible ingredients.  Our beverage program consists of artisanal cocktails, extensive beer and by the glass wine offerings and a deep wine list by the bottle that has perennial favorites as well as esoteric wines from around the world.

Chef James Corona is a Batali and Bouley alum who is lauded for tapping into modern Italian cuisine with a soulful yet minimalist approach. Chef Corona showcases high-quality ingredients on each plate without complicated additions.

Service Director

Jennifer has honed her craft at some of the best restaurants in NJ. She has worked previously as a dining room captain at Elements in Princeton and Jockey Hollow Bar and Kitchen in Morristown. She has great attention to detail and a strong work ethic. These are the traits that have gotten Jennifer to where she is today in this industry.

Restaurant Manager

Elvin has had quite an illustrious career in the restaurant industry. From dining room captain at Fromagerie and Frog and the Peach to manager of the Stage House and Ryland Inn in North Jersey, Elvin has lived and breathed fine dining for some time now. Most recently Maitre’D at the venerable Stage Left and Catherine Lombardi in New Brunswick, Elvin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team here at Blu Grotto.
